Fat activism with Pretty Porky and Pissed Off
- Ladies Sasquatch is up at the McMaster Museum of Art until March 28th, 2009. It will tour later this year to The Winnipeg Art Gallery, the University of Lethbridge Art Gallery and the Art Gallery of Peterborough.
- The Ladies Sasquatch catalogue launch will take place March 19th from 6-8 pm at the McMaster Museum of Art. The launch will include an interview with Ann Cvetkovich, catalogue contributor and author of An Archive of Feelings: Trauma, Sexuality, and Lesbian Public Cultures.
- The curatorial project When Women Rule the World: Judy Chicago in Thread on now at the Textile Museum of Canada. It runs until September 7th, 2009.
- As part of the 23rd London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival, BFI Southbank is showing Deep Lez: An Allyson Mitchell Retrospective + Artists Talk on Sun March 29th.
- Brain Child will be on exhibit at Cambridge Galleries from April 4th to May 10, 2009. It will also be presented at AKA Gallery in Saskatoon later this spring.

- Unca Trans
Set in an agrarian future, Unca Trans is a short animated Super8 film in which the title character pontificates about gender theory and activism back in the 2000s.
- ReGeneration animation
I am currently working on an homage to Joyce Wieland by animating the handicraft that was so critical to her art practice. Drawing on Wieland's evocation of the domestic kitchen table, her nationalist sentiments, and her ideas about gender and voice, this piece highlights the importance of Wieland's art/activism.
